- Our signature Sankara shaving gel features an abundance of naturally-derived ingredients grown on Yakushima, including hibiscus yeast and extracts from rice, pineapples, hibiscus flower and turmeric root. In addition to the ingredients used for the shaving gel, the aftershave lotion is enriched with Averrhoa carambola leaf extract. Created with peace of mind as the top priority, our shaving gel and aftershave lotion are free from artificial colors, artificial fragrances, mineral oils, preservatives, paraben and phenoxyethanol.
- Moisturizing Soap
- Our original soap is crafted using traditional framed soap techniques. Using time-honored methods, kamadaki framed soaps are created by skilled artisans by boiling, then slowly aging them over a period of 80 days. Savor the soft aroma of yakusugi cedar with this soap made from 100% naturally-derived ingredients, including a blend of Camellia japonica var. macrocarpa oil and extracts from flowers and plants grown on Yakushima, together with locally-sourced water.
- Toothbrushes

The handles of our toothbrushes are made from a biodegradable
resin featuring corn starch and other materials that can be
absorbed back into the soil.
This environmentally-friendly material is derived from nature and results in negligible CO2 emissions even if burned after disposal.
The bristles are made from plant-derived nylon (100% castor oil) and are long-lasting enough for continued use beyond your stay with us.

We provide animal hair and wood pin brushes, made using natural
wood and pig hair as key materials. Animal hair brushes
complement natural shampoo, helping to bring out your hair’s
natural beauty and luster, while the wood pin brushes provide
both smooth brushing and a massaging effect that is good for the
scalp.
Our brushes are made to last, why not take yours home with you?
While we refrain from using individual plastic wrapping for our brushes, please be assured that each guest is provided with brand new brushes.
